Gina Bowser brings decades of experience and expertise as a licensed cosmetologist to Genesis Root, where her passion for haircare shines in every carefully crafted product. With an emphasis on healthy hair for life, Gina's blends–affectionately called "brews"–combine essential oils, vitamins, and extracts the support hair and scalp health for all hair types.
Genesis Root grew from a seed planted years ago. A self-professed "conditioner snob," Gina reflected on her years as a salon stylist and how important the right conditioners were in achieving the perfect 'do for her clients. Holding to that belief that style shouldn't mean sacrificing hair health and with her husband's encouragement, Gina began formulating her shampoos, conditioners, and other treatments in 2012. While interning at FloraTech International, she worked with a cosmetic chemist to perfect her brews. She officially launched the Genesis Root line in November 2024.
